Consolidate, reinforce and extend skills and understanding across the curriculum

Broaden learners understanding of how subjects they study fit into the wider world

Exploit resources of learning, of all kinds, at home

Encourage learners to develop confidence, self-discipline and motivation to study on their own

Help prepare Key Stage 4 learners for the requirements of further education
